The whakatauki Taonga Tuku Iho reminds us that the mokopuna come with the hopes, dream, inherited traits and values of their whānau - what does this mean for the kaiako when we are asking for just information about the mokopuna? The more we hear the stories of the whole whānau the better equipped we are to provide education and care for the tamariki.
